Live Session Video
As Nope Rope are an incredibly dynamic live band, we worked very closely with them to ensure that this was captured in the recordings. None of us felt that anything that was too overproduced would be right, so we developed a live recording setup that would capture their huge performances, but with a fidelity that would translate well across all relevant formats.
The result was a massive sounding record that captured the band's spirit on stage.
Record Production
Nope Rope is a two-piece band hailing from Chester, UK, consisting of members Mitch (drums/vocals) and Ethan (bass/vocals). They describe their sound as a fusion of various musical influences, resulting in “an ultra symphony of dirty riff-driven heavy drums and soaring vocals.”
After coming onto the scene with a bang with the release of their debut double single "Shy Knuckle/House of Beef", Nope Rope wasted no time in trying to capitalise on this success by coming to Pluto for their second record.
We put together a package of content to make sure their second release was as big and bold as possible.
