Who are we?
Established as a small recording studio in 1968 by Keith Hopwood and Derek Leckenby of British Invasion band Herman's Hermits, Pluto grew throughout the seventies and eighties into a music production powerhouse, writing and recording music for projects such as the Wind in the Willows, The BFG, Alias the Jester, not to mention countless television commercials and campaigns.
Relocating from central Manchester to the heart of Cheshire in 1983, Pluto has since gone on to score such beloved children's shows as Bob the Builder, Pingu, Pip Ahoy, Tom Sawyer and Daisy and Ollie, to name but a few.
Expanding in 2025 to incorporate record and video production, Pluto now provides a complete one stop shop service for independent musicians, providing everything from record production, to videography and photography.
