Gingersnap - Ashley Fayth
Ashley Fayth is an award-winning singer/songwriter and children’s author from Random Island, Newfoundland. Her original songs for global conservation campaigns (Chester Zoo, European Association for Zoos and Aquaria, Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) have been translated into multiple languages, and are taught in classrooms all around the world. She’s performed live on BBC Radio, CBC Radio Canada, and on major international stages including South by Southwest (Austin), CMJ (New York), CMW (Toronto), The Bluebird Café (Nashville), Sound City (Liverpool), and Festival No.6 (Portmeirion). Her debut children’s book, “Blueberry Bay”, was showcased at the Canadian Government’s World Oceans Day celebrations in 2020, and her second storybook, “The Sniger and the Floose”, is slated for publication by Running the Goat Books in Winter 2022. She lives with her husband and 3 year-old daughter in Chester, England, where in-between playgroups and endless loads of laundry, she is working on a new collection of seasonal songs for families.
